Weather Finally Appropriate

After the week of rain followed by days of freezing cold? It's finally nice enough that we can play outside. Eli was fresh off a trip to BigMama's to see "My Wef-wee" so he had plenty of energy. We spent a good hour out front playing with Millie and riding.

You may notice a bandaid on the shirt - that's from Sunday School (Sunnie Skol). They learned about a 38 year old man that had been sick all his life & Jesus healed him because Jesus Can Do Anything. But Eli isn't to be bothered by the details, because all he can share with me about Sunnie Skol? Eni got a ban-aid at Sunnie Skol. And of course now that we're talking about it he wants another one . . .

He was beyond thrilled to finally be able to ride, so much so that he showed his tail when it was time to come in (um hello it's dark outside!) He really liked playing fetch with his Millie, but I'm not sure if it was so much the actual game of fetch or the actually being allowed to through ten balls all over the front yard. Eli later crawled on all fours chasing Millie around but thankfully refrained from picking up any of the balls with his mouth!

Eli's now (finally!) asleep so I best call it a night myself. Here's to hoping even nicer weather in the week to come so we can break out that new Cars bicycle!
