Eli gets his wonderful morning personality honestly (read: from his mother). So when he woke up on the wrong side of the bed this morning I couldn't help but giggle just a tad at how Everything was an Issue. Except for that part when it started grating on my nerves since, ya know, I hate mornings myself. The bad part about Eli waking up on this wrong side of the bed is
that it usually lasts all day. And today was no different. Because really must we insist on going hoooooooome every time you're told to do something?
that it usually lasts all day. And today was no different. Because really must we insist on going hoooooooome every time you're told to do something? Regardless we came on home and had some fun watching the Elephant Movie*, playing outside and, currently, watching Thomas the Tank while playing with te-os (toys). Granted, he's been exceptionally bossy. But at least he took a nap, right? Plus he's been practicing his Mad Puzzle Skillz and did the 24-piece Veggie Tale puzzle from the church library four times in the past hour.
Here's to hoping he chooses the happy side tomorrow since it's Back To School for MonkeyBoy!
*Sidenote: While watching Baby Noah (the Elephant Movie) we saw Noah on his ark. I said look Eli that's Noah's ark - see Noah there on the ark? and Eli promptly responds Uh no Mommy dat not no-uh dat's JE-SUS. Clearly he is listening every week at Sunnie Skool, no?
