Beach! Trip! Day 1

We headed to the beach this morning. I should point out that the minute the door opened? Even before the cars were loaded? Eli was Ready To Go and kept saying Guys is it time to go yet???

Since the Monkey choose to ride with Daddy so you can chase us mommy! I had a quiet ride with this as a view (except for that part where David left me at a redlight and I was a mile behind and his truck was a mere dot but thankfully it is easy to catch up on that long trail of 431)
And then it started raining. And then the sun came out. Then it rained even harder. Then the sun came out. And then it rained again. Got to love this weather!
Eli was Very Excited to finally be at the beach. Except for that part where we didn't walk in, put on our bathing suit and go down to the beach. He hasn't quite learned the ways of unloading and taking a rest
Unpacking, a trip to the store & a quick and easy dinner later? We were at the beach. Even though de sun is going down!
Eli loved playing in the holes left by earlier beach-goers. He then in true Eli fashion walked up to a group of older kids, called them My Fwends and proceeded to play with them.Also worth noting? Dat water is too wowdee mommy. Kinda glad he's not a huge fan of the "loud" ocean since the seaweed is Out of Control

We're all exhausted (and the MonkeyBoy is already snoozing thanks to No Nap and Lots of Excitement About the Beach) so we're off to bed. Gotta rest up for a full day at the pool and beach tomorrow, as the Monkey has already mapped out an agenda.
