A Busy Day Indeed

Eli had a jam-packed day. He went with his daddy for golf at Hollywood Connection Marvelous Monday on a Thursday. And then they took a trip to Uchee Creek (or what Eli calls "The Jungle") to 'see the animals' (targets). For some strange reason Eli was hooked on his Love For Trains today and all but insisted on an impromptu trip to B&N for some train play - which we did for sanity's sake after the fun at golf & Uchee Creek. It should be noted I got in trouble for having my camera in B&N if you can believe that. Something about pictures of merchandise being illegal? So please ignore all that merchandise in the background. I just wanted some pics of MonkeyBoy doing something he loves. The Camera Police should go get some Starbucks and leave us be. We came back home with the hope of eating and then playing with Kolby. But Kolby was once again not home. So we instead rode our new bike around the driveway. Here we find some major concentration on using the "squeeze" (hand brake)

Also worth noting? Check out those feet. That is Black all over his feet. If you can judge how fun a day is by how messy your feet are? Eli had the best day ever. And left black all over my clean tub, too, thankyouverymuch.

Kolby finally made it home but the sun was already down.
They did get to play, though, and played until I couldn't stand the squealing a moment more. But not before Eli danced some kind of jig out in the driveway. Cracks me up looking at this one.

Tomorrow won't compare with all the fun of today but hopefully we'll at least get to play with Kolby. Woohoo for golf and jungles and train tables bikes & friends!
