Eli watched The Fox and The Hound in his room last night. I had no idea, as he picked a movie to watch from his stack and was in bed. I was in my room watching television and unloading my camera myself. All is well and quiet in our house . . . until I hear sobbing - SOBS I tell you - coming from Eli's room. I call him in our room to figure out Just What Is Going On and he can't even tell me for all the tears and hiccuping and all out, well, Sobbing.+501.jpg)
All we could get out of him was The fox had to go back to the woods followed by even more tears and crying and the statement and I can't make my crrryyyying sttttooooppppp and these tennis shoes aren't heeeellllppppping. Have I mentioned that I love his still calls tissues tennis shoes? Ahem. We finally got the tears - and the movie! - stopped. Put in something much happier (Strawberry Shortcake!) and called it a night, with the assurance that the movie ends with happily ever after and that we promise the fox will be okay.
David said he isn't sure what is worse: Eli watching The Fox & the Hound or me watching Green Mile. After last night? I'm not sure myself!
