Strep.

The boy has strep. Which means that even though he Feels Like A Million Bucks now that the fever is gone? And is chattering nonstop like it is his Job? He can't go to school. Because we don't want to share The Strep. Eli finds this Particularly Distressing since he'll miss the big field trip to Publix tomorrow. Granted we go to Publix ALL THE TIME so really WHAT might he be missing? But yeah Incredibly Bum Worthy in the eyes of a four year old.

One thing about this strep is the boy's a bit more emotional - and he wants to sleep with Us because he's so Scared and Cold and other random excuses - and that leaves Very Little Room In The Bed. Last night? I was regulated to the couch for a few hours and if we're being honest here it pretty much Sucked. So tonight I was insistant in regards to Sleeping In One's Own Bed. Here is to hoping it lasts til morning - or at least long enough for me the Mommy to get a few hours sleep without a four year old sharing my side of the bed!
