Fun Friday!

We had a busy but fun Friday today! It was Egg Hunt day at St LukeEli was more of a participant this year but still has a little bit of trouble with the concept of Egg Hunting. He spent more time trying to run around with his friends and before he knew it? Egg Hunting was Over and he only had Two Eggs!After crying a few tears (a la the Ice Cream incident from a few days prior!) he quickly dried it up and went back to running with his friends. This was also helped by the fact that Everyone went home with Lots of Eggs and he wasn't stuck with his pitiful two! We headed back inside for a class lunch and then Eli got to do his most favorite thing at school: Act Like A Puppy

We spent our afternoon outside for a while as it was GORGEOUS out. Eli rode his bike for a bitAnd we got SUPER EXCITED as we heard the ice cream man - hurried inside to get our money - we were SO prepared this time! Except he didn't come down our street. We aren't losing all hope and are thinking he'll certainly come back tomorrow!Rounded out that afternoon out blowing some bubbles (and making a mess in the process but such is life!). Eli was thrilled that his evening included playing with his Fellas, McDonald's for supper and getting to play games with Daddy after dinner. He's already making many plans for tomorrow so I better go ahead and call it a night so I'm well rested for all he hopes to accomplish!
