St Luke PreK Graduation!

Today Eli graduated from PreK. I know. Graduated. From PreK. I'm very much of the mindset didn't he just learn to crawl?! and wait a minute he's just a little kid but then I blinked and, well, he's this Big Boy who Can Do It By Himself and is going to Kindergarten in August. Sigh.

But enough of all that sappiness, because really we're all about the pictures aren't we? The Boy graduated PreK in a super fabulous ceremony today. The parents watched the class video of pictures throughout the year and then in marched all the kids in little red hats! After a few pledges the kids all sang a few songs (one of which Cracked Me Up and I want Eli to sing it over and over because the "hand commotions" had him looking like Ray Charles!). Before we knew it they were reading off names and giving off diplomas. Here's Eli with his diplomaAs he stood there looking so dapper, they played an interview with him taped earlier. We learned Eli loves the color RED! and likes to eat CHEESEBURGER MACARONI! His favorite animal is a HORSE! and his favorite book is CARS! When asked what he learned this year, Eli responeded I don't know!.

After the ceremony was over, the kids all brought their moms a flower. We snapped a super fast family shot before Daddy had to head back to work - Eli would be the one cheesing hard

One last hoorah on Friday with the class party and then St Luke's out for the summer. It's been a fabulous two years there and we've been blessed having Eli there for PreK!
