Back to School

After hanging with Daddy for two days and being fever-free for nearly two full days we decided it was time for Eli to head Back to School. Opted for just a half-day but he didn't care ~ he was back at StLuke school. Ms. Heather is off for two weeks, so we were a bit sad to hear but Ms Bobbie was there and as Eli put it Oh Eni Wvvs Ms Bobbie. Eli gave me the run-down of his school day while in the car:

Eni go St Wuke Skoo. Eni see he friends. I wike my friends. Eni play on de circle time rug with Emma. I go on the pway groun with friends. Eni pway wid Emma. Emma a doggie goes woof woof. Eni a frog wibbit wibbit. Eni hab uh nack at St Wuke skoo. Eni eat de cheeses kwah kers. Eni eat de kwah kers like a doggie goes woof woof. Eni drink de wah-dur. Eni no can eat lunch at st wuke school.

I'm taking all that gabber to mean he was glad to be back. But the minute we walked in the door at home? He insisted putting his pjs back on - boy after my own heart & I went ahead and joined him. We then played, jumped off the furniture, watching a movie, watched Noggin, jumped on the trampoline and did the monkey puzzle three times. All in all a fun time had by all.

Maybe all that excitement was too much - or more likely Eli skipped his nap - but he's been asleep since seven!!! and is still snoozin. I'm off to join him here shortly because "my tired" too.
