A Day with Daddy

President's Day holiday left Eli and David with an entire day together! After a quick breakfast and a few in-town errands they hit the road for Much Fun. Eli's recount? Eni ride in Daddy's truck. Go see dee tent. Eni eat lunch at de gas station! Eni see all de animals. Which means he went to see the camper at the hunting land, stopped for something to eat at the gas station, and headed back to Uchee Creek where he saw all the targets.

When asked It's Fun Isn't It Eli quickly responds Shoot (thanks Daddy & Uncle Jamie for that gem of a response!). Eli ended his day with leftover cupcakes from his Balentine Pardee this weekend. Methinks he would judge it a banner day in his world. Not sure any activity this week can top it.

Although I will say I think Daddy had even more fun then Eli did! All he could talk about was what a blast he'd had. Wonder if they'll have more fun like this in a month or so when it's time for Spring Break???
