Eli was beyond excited that today was picture day at St Luke. No idea what made this particular day So Exciting in his mind but it was all I could do to get him asleep last night. And he popped right out of bed this morning full of excitement saying Know What Day It Is Today? PICTURE DAY!!! We donned our brown polo and khaki pants. Got all ready to head out the door. And proceeded to have the World's Longest Discussion Ever regarding the fact that Eli was insistent he was having his picture taken at school with a trophy. I repeatedly told him it was Picture Day not Picture Day With Eli And A Trophy. I finally just said Let Me Take One in the Front Yard and the trophy rode to school with him but he was still near tears when the trophy didn't come inside. And was still all weepy about it after school. When I snapped this picture I asked Eli to smile like he was going to smile for his school picture - I'm hoping this was dress rehearsal and that come showtime he didn't look quite so much in pain
