Santa with a Giant Beard - He Talks Like a Man!

Today was the annual Santa trip! We were saddened to find that our regular Santa from 2005, 2006 & 2007 was not there today and in his place happened to be a Santa With A Giant White Beard. Eli began getting apprehensive upon seeing the beard and the change in outfit, informing me that this was not his "Cason & Kayla Santa" and that he really didn't like Giant White Beards. I busted out the big guns and let hime know that (1)Santa had that Giant White Beard to keep his face warm & that (2)Look! he has on red clothes and Red is Eli's favorite color so maybe it is Santa's favorite color, too! and that (3)we could always let Cason & Kayla go first.

It worked (thankfully!). But perhaps the funniest part? Would be Eli proudly walking up to the adults after talking to Santa and informing us that Santa wasn't scary. Oh no siree he was Not Scary at all. And do you know why he wasn't scary? Eli promptly informed us Santa wasn't scary because He Talked Like a Man! And there you have it!
