That's Gonna Leave a Mark

Eli had a Freak Accident this evening. In his Complete and Utter Excitement that Nathyn, Trey and Logan were coming over from across the street? He literally fell in to the house. No I mean fell and hit the side of the house, missing the door and hitting brick apparently. Amy (neighbor and mom to Trey, Nathyn & Logan) said one minute he was running, the next on the ground crying. When he came inside? He was complaining about the scrap on his hand and that he hurt his "cheek" - we didn't notice the eye on the first sweep for injuries. But boy howdy is that not gonna leave a mark. Methinks he might wake up with a bit of a shiner in the morning. Oh the joys of having a boy! Thank goodness I've finished the Christmas card and already did the Santa photos!

So I've no clue why the bottom picture won't flip correctly but you can see the swelling there on his left eye. Guess we need a quick anatomy lesson on eyelid versus cheek so Eli knows next time he gets hurt! Hopefully things will look a little less puffy in the morning
