Mother Goose Pancake Day

It was Mother Goose Party day at StLuke School. That's a fluffy way of saying Eli got to wear jammies, bring his pillow and have pancakes/waffles for lunch! I managed to miss the entire party, arriving as puzzles were completed (unless you were Aiden and you threw your pieces across the room but I digress . . . )

In honor of pancake day, they made special pancake crafts. That's bacon there on top of the pancakes, which not only have butter but also a smidgen of Real Chocolate Syrup mixed with glue. Ms. Heather said no one ate the chocolatey glue thank goodness.

Eli was sketchy on the details of the day, but I did manage to get the following info: We watch a Mudder Goose movie! And that, dear family & friends, was the extent of his discussion from the day. When asked about lunch and if he had pancakes he said an Eni ate it so I'm thinking he tried pancakes. Morgan K's mom said he also had sausage but no fruit. So we're excited he at least ate some new things since he continues to be Super Picky in regards to all things food.

Before we headed out Eli and Tucker W had "circle time" with Emma. She read them a story and Eli & Tucker kicked back to listen. It was so cute when Emma looked at them & said "now friends no laying down sit up please" and you just knew she was acting like Ms. Heather!

Super fun day at StLuke School. Now we have a quiet week followed by StPatrick's Day, TWO school birthdays (and party invites to boot!) AND an Egg Hunt & Easter Party a week from Wednesday.

Worthy of noting, upon being informed that Carly & Morgan K were having birthday parties and Eli Was Invited he quickly informed me that Max going to birfday par-dee an Eni bring he Warry Bio (Larry Boy), he Awfred, an de kah box wid all de kahs an de Back Yard Again pirate ship to de birfday par-dee. Despite many attempts to inform him you don't bring toys to a party you bring a gift, he's insistent. It'll be fun to see just what goes down if we do in fact make it to the parties.
