Art by Eli

Eli worked with Ms. Ashley the Art Teacher today during lunch. He made a special project that we can now order cool stuff from. Ms. Ashley let Eli draw Whatever He Wanted. And that he did.

Here we find the little details, like the sun up there in the top corner. Surrounded by pretty purple and blue sky. And then the grass there at the bottom. Pretty green grass. And Eli's name written so beautifully there in the bottom corner.

And my most favorite part of all - Eli's own added bit - a little creativity all his own. Carrots. He drew them on his own, he painted them all by himself. Because every outdoor picture needs a little bit of vegetable.

It totally makes the picture, don't you think?

I love it so much I'm ordering an 8x10 print. And note cards. And quite possibly a magnet. I just may go broke buying art stuff from this little painting. Thanks, Ms. Ashley. And applause, applause to my little artist!
