Eli had his first field trip today! He woke up with a start and told me Mommy you have to get up NOW or I will MISS my St Luke Field Trip! Hurry! Not to worry, as we had an hour and a half to spare and ended up being the first ones there. Eli says he had fun - we saw cats and walked all through PetSmart, learning about the many things they do and sell. Eli asked for a hamster, particularly the dwarf hamster that kept falling on his head every time he tried to run on his spinning wheel. I told him thanks for asking but No. Interesting fact of the day? Not only can you buy clothing for your large dog, you can buy frozen mice for your pet snake. Good to know in case my pet snake were to get hungry or if my large dog were to, say, get cold. Next field trip in two weeks - Eli's already asking if he can go on another field trip tomorrow!
