After our playdate, we came home and willed the neighbors to come play. But all the willing in the world didn't help. Nor did breaking out the noc'lers to find the friends.
I finally said Sanity Please and let him water the flowers before waving the white flag and giving him a lollipop (and having one for myself!).

Eli got his Waffle House for supper, though, so that made the fact that All De Fwends weren't home a little easier to handle.
They found some sticks - from where I have no idea - and Kolby came running out to say he had a stick and it was a bat so he could play baseball. And Eli, just as serious as you please, said An deez sticks are a bow & arrow!
He spent a bit of time "working" on the bike
Before doing a little "work" on the house
And now we're all bathed and ready for bed. Hopefully we'll all fall asleep at a decent hour tonight. And hopefully there won't be too many Why's in the time to go to bed process
