Sunday Fun

First off, for the sake of I want to remember it, I shall inform you of my son's stalling tactic this morning. See, he wanted to play instead of going to Sunday school. So he pushes up his sleeve and then takes his finger as if he were reading words on a page: See dis right here Baby Jaguar? It say Eni no go Sunnie Skoo Eni stay here an pway wid dat Diego treehouse

After stating the obvious - that we were in fact going to church - Eli stated he had to wear his Cubbie vest to Sunday school. And in an effort to not completely lose my mind - wear it he did

Then we had a birthday party after church where the theme was balls. Eli had a blast running all over the gym and playing with the green ball. So much fun he skipped out on cake!

Back home we came, where Eli watched a bit of Cars before we went outside. And if the state of Eli's feet at the end of the afternoon were any indication, Much Fun Was Had. Eli helped Daddy before the neighbors came to play. And so the next three hours were spent jumping on the trampoline, playing on the swings, riding bikes/scooters, running, blowing bubbles, playing with the Diego treehouse & having popsicles. I'm shocked that Eli's still awake after all that fun!

Even Millie joined in the fun It was one of those afternoons that you want to bottle up - the kind you want to have a billion more Just Like It in the days to come
