Tuesday & Wednesday Fun

Tuesday slipped right by without an update. Apologies as both Eli and I crashed before the camera even had time to download the pictures! Must've been all that playing outside we did. Regardless, I must say can't you just see Eli looking just like this sitting outside in like 20 years?

We spent a good hour or two outside Tuesday evening playing with the next-door neighbor's 2 year old (Kolby). Eli loves to hang out with Kolby - they fight over the bat and tee, they fight over the scooter and bike, they fight over who gets the next turn with the bubbles - yet they both pitch a total fit when it's time to go inside. Really though they have the best time "riding to the store" where they ride the scooter/bike to the end of the driveway and the hurry back to bring me "milk" and "eggs" with The Biggest Smiles on their faces.

So that's Tuesday. Now on to today . . .

Eli spent the morning at Ms Marion's house, where he had a blast playing with Foster and Randol. Huge Thanks to Ms Marion for watching him for us this morning! Eli talked about pwaying supah hee-rows and watching Back Yard Agains. He had a blast! Hope we can get them all together again soon!

After the Lambertus fun morning and the Ruby's House For Nap, Eli headed home and watched Cars until dinner. And he was counting down the minutes until he finished his supper because he wanted to go outside an find all de fwends. Sadly, when we went outside no friends were out playing. Eli spent half the time pouting about wanting friends to play while I spent the same time encouraging him to just go ride already while racking my brain to think of someone that might want to come play on Thursday at 7 p.m. so we don't face the same fate! Apparently I'm no fun when playing in the front yard now. I just hope tomorrow night there are neighbors out playing so Eli won't be as disappointed. Thankfully at about 745 Ethan came out so Eli was back to being a bit happier.

We're also happier because Daddy will be back tomorrow! Needless-to-say we miss him lots.
