We often joke that Eli walked on a Wednesday and ran on a Friday and didn't stop moving since then. And it's quite true - he's quite active and always has been although he's (thankfully) slowed down a bit. One of his biggest loves? Many will say spinning - Yes Yes Very True. But another is Jumping. Oh how our son has long loved jumping since he figured out how to get both feet off the ground. And he has never limited this jumping to the ground. He's more in to adventure and likes jumping Off and From and Around. The Thrill Of The Jump.
His second birthday? We bought a trampoline. Sure all the PTs cringe. But the OTs are astounded and amazed at the wonders it did for Eli's sensory system. A year later? We were asking Santa for an indoor trampoline because it was horrible on our home life on rainy days when jumping was not possible. This led to jumping from the couch to the mini-trampoline and soaring throughout the living room which is quite the common occurance here in our home. The picture below is one of many I have from the past year

While out shopping with Daddy last week we happened upon what Eli thought was the Greatest Thing Since Little Debbie Christmas Tree Cakes: A trampoline. Bungee Cords. Children flying through the air while jumping. Essentially it was heaven.
Immediate begging led to a Sorry Son But We've No Cash Today but I promised him we'd go back again Soon. Imagine my surprise this weekend when out of nowhere Eli asks Hey Mommy do you have any money today? and then followed it up with Cause remember when we have money we can go back to the giant trampoline at the daddy clothes store!
So today was the day - cash in hand Eli got his treat. And you can see for yourself - it was well worth the $10 for the happiness it gave. +058.jpg)

Eli wants to know when we can go back again and maybe we can go tomorrow? And maybe Santa can bring one of those to OUR house for Christmas day! Would that we could have something that cool we'd be the coolest house in the 'hood. And Eli would never sleep for all the jumping. So we'll just save it for special treats. Just not tomorrow, love.
