StLuke goes to Stevi B's!

Field Trip this morning! Eli's class went to Stevi B's to learn about making pizzas and the inner workings of a pizza buffet. We started off waiting on our tour guide by hanging out at a table.

They broke the class in to two groups and Eli got this super nifty hat to wear after he washed his hands with sanitizer!

First stop? The freezer! And then we learned all about how they mix up the dough.

After a quick lesson on the dishwasher (of all things!) Eli was able to hold a small amount of dough like breadsticks are made out of

And then we learned about putting the dough in the pans and spreading cornmeal. Following that quick lesson? Ms Bonnie our tour guide let the group decorate a pizza!

Eli made his in the shape of a smiley face - and was quite pleased with himself!

We undecorated the pizza so the next group could decorate (you didn't think we'd actually cook and eat it did you?) and made our way over to the oven

Cheese pizza for lunch with Sprite and a game room rounded out the day. Eli had a blast!

Eli wanted to know if we could go back again tonight. When I told him no, he quickly said okay how about Tuesday? I think Stevi B's was a hit.
