Love Thursday Eli Style: BOOTS!

I have a good friend that dedicated one day a week to posting about something she loves - she calls it Love Thursday. It's one of my favorite things to read each week ~ kind of like I look forward to a friend's Sew Thursday and another's Stencil Tuesday! I love the Love Thursday idea, so I'm instituting Love Thursday Eli Style.

Today's Love Thursday? Boots. Seems fitting to start there, as the green boots (and newly added blue boots!) are such a wardrobe staple in our lives. Rainy day, sunny day, church day ~ every situation needs a little green boots.

We bought the green boots back around Easter. From day one, Eli was in serious love with the boots. Wore them in the morning. To the grocery store. To Hibbets to buy more shoes. And even to Vacation Bible School. One Sunday he wore them to Sunday school but I compromised and said he could wear them in but then had to change in to his sandals.

I recently went back to Target to pick him up a pair in the next size up. We found our blue boots at that time. Truth be told Eli wanted the pink boots with flowers all over them, but sadly (or more thankfully in David's book!) they didn't have Eli's size. And really aren't boots with eyes way cooler than, say, cowboy boots? Because we all know cowboy boots drive me insane . . .
