Millie and Eli tend to have a love-hate relationship. Sure, they love running around the backyard together. He thinks it is crazy cool to help feed her. Yet Eli thinks the huge dog bones from Target? Belong to him. And Millie thinks the cute little board books that come in the ChickFilA kids meals? Belong to her. As such there are many times I hear "mommy mi-we ate it" when she destroys a book or a loud "MINE" when she tries to run off with a dog bone. Or the countless times he's yelling for "MOMMMMMYYYY" when Millie won't Leave Him Alone when he's in the bathtub or playing on the train table. +099.jpg)

Despite all that, Eli can get the stinkin dog to go outside. It's amazing to me how all he has to do is say "mi-we outside" and out she goes. I'm all shaking a treat box or clapping & whistling as she stares at me from across the room. Eli can also get her in her kennel with nary a problem. I'm telling you he is the freakin dog whisperer!
And spekaing of the dog whisperer - he's finally crashed here next to me in our bed. I'm so thankful for it to, as he is extremely clingy and whiney with his recent "illness." Here's to hoping for an easy night & for his daddy to carry Eli back to his own bed!
