First Night of Cubbies

Eli is officially a Cubbie!

Awana started tonight and Eli's moved from Cubbie Friends to Cubbies. Eli's in Ms Margaret & Ms Terrie's class with his friends Alex, Bryn & Mallory from Sunday School. I'm not sure he really knew what to think but I sent him on in with a see you later.

When it was time for the groups to split up, I noticed Eli walking towards the stairs near the door. I went to my door to hear him telling Ms Terrie was going "to da pway ground" Little booger was trying to skip out on Cubbies!

They tell me he did fine. Except for that whole part of me being the craft teacher, which resulted in the minor bit of obnoxious whining "mommy mommy mommy" over me not giving up the glue. It was thankfully short-lived thanks to Ms Marion & craft time ending with playtime.

We have a long verse to work on next week & then we'll get his book and hopefully his vest!
