Those were the words sternly directed at me yesterday at the Barber Shop.
Eli sat in the chair like a big boy and let Ms Kathy cut his hair. Granted, he continued the mantra of "All done? All done?" but nary a tear was shed - nary a whine or yell - because the Monkey was a Big Boy.He now wears shoes from the children's section - no more infant/toddler for Eli! He is pottytraining. And now doing the haircut thang by himself. He starts "school" (3-year PreK) in a week.
I'm willing to bet Uncle Wesley will still try to lift him over his head until his feet drag the floor and Uncle Matthew may never stop trying to convince him to throw toys while saying "Forget Dis" - no matter how big a boy he becomes. For now we're considering putting a brick on the boy's head because he's growing up too fast!
