Imagniation

The boy has some imagination (which really has me thinking of Charlotte's Web and it being soooooome pig!). Sometimes it makes me pause at his imagination.

After church we went to BigMama & Papa's, where Eli took a nap followed by marching and running and the like until we came home. Home meant "Ride de bike" for Eli, and he donned his "Elmo hat" to do so.

We had supper shortly after that ~ a dinner of champions (nuggets!) and Eli requested to watch his new "Wil Einteins" DVD - so we did. And as I sit listening to him sing and try to say things like Stravinsky? I notice he is playing with an old 'baby' toy. Except wait - it's not a toy at all - That's Rocket!

Okay so maybe I shouldn't be surprised since prior to age 2 this was the child pretending small paint containers were the various Teletubbies.

And we can't talk about imaginations without bringing up Cars! We have several of the little play cars, which Eli uses to act out the scenes on the movie. Then Eli took up with this toy while at BigMama's. It fit right in with his love of Cars and even has an opening in the back which "Rookie" can ride right up in! (You may also notice the carcass of Flag #1 there on the train table)

So yeah the boy's got an imagination. And he's super cute to boot. we think we'll keep him. Especially since he's actually sleeping! Hopefully it'll be through the night. Hopefully.
