did both Mommy & Daddy stay home but Granny & Papa Ronnie came to play, too!The morning dawned at some hour which I am unsure of because David is a rockstar and let me sleep in! They all went to Waffle House where Eli was in HEAVEN with a waffle & grilled cheese. Back home they came & Eli had fun insisting "Annie run!" and "Annie go pway in ball pit" which she did and Eli LOVED. But sadly they had to go back home. Eli was happy to hear Papa Ronnie mention going to the lake soon!
The boy napped. And, well, we woke him up so as to not have him sleeping until six. Horrible idea, mind you, as I still stick to my Never Wake A Sleeping Baby rule. Much crying filled our evening, including a massive tantrum over watching Mickey Mouse in the "WIVING ROOM!" I'm all about the distraction, so in the yar
d we went. Trampoline jumping, power wheel riding, swinging, water table, bike riding and bubbles helped the evening pass much easier. That and the whole Pizza For Supper, which coupled with the earlier Waffle House means a banner day in Eli's book.

Just had to have that bit of redirection since he tried insisting on "night night in mommy's bed no night night eni's bed"
But I will say this ~ as much as Eli wishes for a holiday like that more often? Methinks his parents wish it even more.
