Saturday Night Par-tay

Ain't no party like a Cars movie party cuz a Saturday Cars viewin don't stop

This evening we ran by the storage unit to pick up a mattress & box springs. We've decided since the Nasty Ball Pit Incident a few months past that the Ball Pit is No More. We've bagged up the balls we were able to salvage & they have been patiently awaiting a washing in bleach for like ever.

And now? Well, now we have a bed under Eli's loft. We're right now curled up on it watching Cars for the second time. Okay let me rephrase because watching Cars with Eli isn't just a sit on your tail and stare at the screen kind of deal.

We have taken all the Cars figures (which now includes a toy tractor for the tractor tipping!) & two of the Little People play sets (barn & circus for the record). There is also the Mater Hellacardahder (helicopter) and the Yellow Plane. It's amazing to watch him imitate scenes with the cars using all these props from his toy baskets!

And then there is the singing. My child can sing Every Single Word from Real Gone and I know this because I downloaded it on iTunes & have heard him sing it! He shakes his bottom as he sings when standing.

Ya know, as he is curled up next to me on the new striped pillowcases courtesy of Target's clearance section he has his little toes all curled up under my leg. He keeps moving around so as not to completely relax. I mean my gosh he can't be tired what with Not Taking A Nap Today. But it is the sweetest thing, this little Monkey all cuddled here on the "ball pit bed" as I type away. I think I'm going to like having this little place to hang out with Eli in "Eni's Room." Even if we have to reenact Cars every single time.
