Lesson On Scooters

Today Jon-Wuan was outside playing with his sister. Eli had a great time hanging out with them, although the time was brief (Jon-Wuan and his sister don't live nextdoor anymore so we don't get to see them much).

Jon-Wuan really wanted Eli to ride scooters the right way. Eli, meanwhile, couldn't do that whole coordinate the left and right foot despite many improptu lessons like the one pictured here. Eli would get his feet in the right place - Jon-Wuan would take off - and Eli would then walk beside the scooter instead of scooting! Jon-Wuan would get so frustrated and say "No not like that like this!" - in Korean - but Eli always went back to his (easier) way pretty much due to that whole "in Korean" part. Still it's awesome to see how well they interact, language barrier and all not bothering them in the least.

They both eventually tired of the scooters and spent the remainder of their brief playtime runnng throughout the yard. Hopefully one day soon Eli can have a playdate with a friend and do cool stuff like he an Jon-Wuan did today.
